FO-Aarhus is a non-governmental, non-profit association and self-owned with an elected board of governors coming from private companies, public administration, and the formal and vocational education sector. FO-Aarhus basic expertise lies in Non-formal adult education for the general public and specialization in programs that help disadvantaged groups – e.g. immigrants, unemployed people, people with learning disabilities, dyslectics, people with mental issues – to enhance their quality of life and to integrate (or re-integrate) into society and the work force. Solution: Solidarity & Inclusion is an NGO based in Paris developing innovative actions to promote social cohesion through non formal education. The objective of the association is to boost social inclusion among younger adults by proposing several kinds of activities allowing to foster mutual acceptance, stimulate human interests by offering cross-cutting activities, design educational programs to open people’s minds and strengthen fair dynamics between generations and cultures.
The association runs activities to support migrants and foreigners in their integration process in France. By participating in CIDizen, Solution’s team will improve their teaching skills to enhance the cultural appreciation of diversity among young learners and will get acquainted with the Digital Breakouts methodology. This will have a positive impact on the learners attending the Solution’s workshops who will benefit from innovative educational tools.
